Emanuel is partner of MSyA Abogados and focuses his practice on environmental law, with a recognized track record in enforcement and sanctioning matters. In addition, he has extensive experience as a litigation lawyer in the different courts of the country, as well as in strategic advice in administrative proceedings, environmental compliance, and highly complex matters in the field.
Previously, he was an attorney at Claro y Cia. Then, in 2013, he joined the Superintendencia del Medio Ambiente where he served as head of the judicial team, being in charge of emblematic cases for the institution. In addition, there he served as Prosecutor, Head of the Sanction and Compliance Division and as Deputy Superintendent of the Environment. During his time at the institution, from these different roles, he participated in the installation of the service, as well as in the generation of strategic products, management of large teams, and in the definition of complex cases. Likewise, he was a legal counterpart with various public agencies, also actively participating in the generation of new regulations, where his intervention in the processing and definition of the new law on economic crimes and environmental violations.
