Andrés is one of the founding partners of MSyA Attorneys, a specialist regarding the environmental assessment of projects, sectoral authorizations, highly complex dispute resolutions, as well as inspection and sanctioning procedures.

Before founding MSyA, he actively participated in the design and implementation of environmental institutions as the Regional Director of CONAMA in Antofagasta (National Environmental Commission) and later he was Head of the Legal Division of the Environmental Assessment Agency. In this last job he led the Commission’s defense in emblematic cases before the Courts, together with the drafting of the New Regulation for the Environmental Impact Assessment System. In the private sector, his participation was remarkable at Philippi, Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU and Uría.
