Jorge Bermúdez

Partner

Jorge joined MSyA Abogados as a partner in 2024, where he leads the area of public law, along with participating in the area of environmental law, given his extensive and outstanding professional and academic career, both in the public and private spheres.

Before joining MSyA, he held the position of Comptroller General of the Republic (2015-2023) and, among others, his role as legal advisor and lawyer in various agencies of the State Administration such as Ministry of Defense, Undersecretary of Fisheries, State Defense Council, Environmental Assessment Service, Superintendence of the Environment and National Forestry Corporation, which allows him to provide excellent advice to domestic and foreign clients in multiple regulatory matters, with an outstanding vision of the functioning of the Chilean public sector.

He is currently a professor of Administrative Law and Environmental Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
